PDP Digital Inc. started a few years ago in Tacloban City when three entrepreneurs realized the need for quality printing in the provinces outside Manila. From a humble beginning, it did not take long for PDP to grow extensively and served the distant provinces of the Visayas until it was no longer geographically possible to cater to its clients’ needs as far as from Tacloban. So it decided to pursue its business in the metropolis—Cebu. From August of 1999 thereon, PDP slowly emerged as one of the country’s leading publisher of postcards and maps.

As it has been in business now for eight (8) years, PDP has been primarily working with the Department of Tourism in its efforts to promote tourism to local as well as foreign tourists from different parts of the world. In 2004, after having produced several collaterals for the Department of Tourism in Central Visayas and various private corporations, PDP took one big step into making the first comprehensive travel guide in the Philippines, the “Your Guide to Cebu”. The birth of this project brought out the many undiscovered beautiful destinations of the Cebu province. From the articulation of its rich history and culture to the artistic photos of the pristine beaches and heritage sites, the guide was a huge success.

Renowned now as the country’s major publisher of travel guides, maps, postcards. PDP has not only proven its expertise in the design, layout, and printing of collaterals for the several regions in the country but especially contributed to the influx of tourists through its sincere efforts in constantly producing high quality images that promote the various tourist spots of the Philippines.

With PDP’s philosophy to be continually dynamic in responding to the needs of the tourism industry, it has expanded its operations into producing its own souvenir items ranging from photo magnets to photo mugs, key chains and other mementoes. This development gave PDP a distinct role as a valuable partner of the government in its promotional campaigns.

As PDP envisions to being an invaluable asset of the government in promoting tourism, it hopes to continually publish collaterals that will ultimately develop tourism within the country as well as bring in more tourists from different parts of the world to witness the ecstatic beauty the Philippine islands have to offer.
